Dirty Ray and Pre Sleep Monologue came together for a long overdue studio appointment in March 2012 to record an EP of Ray's material which was taken mainly from his solo album "Primitve", along with a tasty Beefheart cover "Grow Fins" in homage to the late master.

It was and is a wonderful fusion of the two seperate entities of Dirty Ray and Pre Sleep Monologue and the resulting recording in mini album/EP form is a lovely collection of gutsy blues that sits far apart from the usual blues sterotype.

In Ray's own words, these songs are "gut bucket, workbench blues" and the finished article is finally here for you to get stuck into! Enjoy.
